Some snippets on managing NFS shares on a windows storage server

the easiest way I found was to activate the NFS server (don't remember how...). Then right click on a folder, properties, NFS sharing ; manage nfs sharing ; share ; give a name. I set "No server authentication" and "enable unmapped user access" and "allow unmapped user unix access"

Here, select permissions, and add a "client group". These are created using the commands below from the terminal. I use ip-based client specification, but names might work also.

# list client groups 

nfsadmin.exe server listgroups

# add a client group

nfsadmin.exe server addgroup NAME

# list members of a group

nfsadmin.exe server listmembers NAME

# add member to a group

nfsadmin.exe server addmember 666.666.666.666
